No sure if anyone can help me with this but I have an Eheim 2231. Am
trying to keep my plants as healthy as possible and am wondering if one model up is better. 2231 up to 35 gallons 127g/h 2233 up to 60 gallons 145 Any thoughts? Larry |

The canisters have good flow controls, so if the output is too strong, taking it down a bit is easy. This also makes it easy to add fish without concern of the filter not being able to handle it. |
