Hi, I'm about to put some aragonite live sand and coral sand into the tank &
get started... I know the coral sand needs to be rinsed but can I rinse it with tap water then RO water? Do I need to rinse the live sand? It came in a bag of sal****er. Coral sand on the bottom, live on top, right? Thanks again, Dan |

you can use tap on the dead sand, rinse till its just slightly clouded
(takes a lot to get to this point) and try to not rinse away to much sand in the process. do NOT rinse the live sand. if your "live sand" is true live sand not just sand with bacteria then its best to just add it to the top of the other sand and let the critters disburse on their own. kc "Dan Norgard" wrote in message ...
