Default reef must go

I'm very sorry for the shameless plug, but my reef has to go. This is a sad
day.

I feel your pain. Divorce is so hard.
I'm in Spring, TX, and wish I could afford your setup. I'd be afraid,
though, as it's been 8 years since I've kept a big marine tank (I had a 50
and a 150,) and I never had a reef. Good luck!

OK, I've got to ask...

How are you going to move all that? Take it all out and put it into
boxes? (Not cardboard ones!)

I suppose buckets for the animals and inverts, wrap the live rock in soaked
newspaper and put in boxes. It would be cool to find a couple 50-gal.
food-grade plastic barrels to take tank water in, too, or lots of 5-gal.
buckets. Haul it all in a carpetless van or small Uhaul with temperature
control, if there is such a thing. I was going to say trailer, but it's too
hot out for that unless you're only going a short distance.

I moved my 50 with fish and a few anemones, no coral, 200 miles. The rock
stayed in the tank and the critters went in buckets. It took 2 days to get
everything back together, and everything made it alive. Even the critters
that I couldn't find to put in the buckets.
