SPAM

Ovbiously, but I was curious as to *what* the spam was trying to accomplish.
It's freaking everytwhere, but it seems to have no purpose.

Dinky, it's called a remailer... It really sucks, because you can't complain
about it, it's considered a way of a mail program, but doesn't use a client
persay, LaSite is a company that sells this program that supposedly sheilds
you from viruses by sending the messages thru the nntp instead of the SMTP
which most viruses were written for/because of, therefore, they're messages
aren't actually 'emails' they're offers for their program, and their
community is their news-server, which cannot be accessed unless you pay for
it... then you send your mail/post, and the problem with it is, they
purposely, add a line that distributes every message that comes thru to
their news servers instead of mail servers... it's kinda hard to explain...
I bitched to someone about it, and their response was, this is the way we
work, we're allowed to do it, you can't stop us...

I have also found these present in lots of groups, I know that it is
lawful - but that doesn't make it any less annoying, don't you think?
