Default All Dried Up?

I recently purchased a home with a few acres in the country. Last year
when I bought it, it had a small farm pond of about 50 x 30 x 5 and
showing that at one time was much bigger. This year, it is now 10 x 8 x
2 even in the wettest of weather.
I am wanting to recoupe the original size and state of the water, which
to my estimation was at its fullest, 75 x 50 x 7 or there abouts.
Any info on what might be wrong, or how to fix would be very
appreciated.
Thank You
