Please for help, Krzysiek Your tank looks very nice. I did not see any flatworms in your pictures, but they can be pretty hard to see. If you only have a few, I would suggest trying to get some Salifert Flatworm Exit. Should work very well for you. Kim Gross www.jensalt.com |

I found plenaria in my tank, the photos of tank You can see on : http://www.boxermania.com/akw/4mc.htm I had big problems with planaria some years ago, they reproduce very fast and were taking over the tank. I eventually decided to treat them chemically with levamisole, this is an antiparasitic drug used in veterinary medicine, you may be able to get it locally, I don't know. Sorry can't remember the dose rate I used. Using this compound is *not* ideal on a reef, the drug kills all nematodes (roundworms) and that will damage your ecosystem, I'd only do that if you really have no alternative. I see there are claims that biological control is possible. That may be better. See these creatures: http://www.aquacon.com/seaslugs.html Steve |
