2 goldys?
Man I do that before breakfast! I rationalise my killing by breeding. As long as ya keep the karmic ballance in favour of births rather than deaths all is well. Besides it's almost spring which means goldy spawns which mean culls to ensure people only get the best culls = deaths by the way to you peeps not able to read between lines. nyea it's no big deal tho a lotta fish die before they reach hobbyists a lotta fish die as bycatch in trawlers so called rubbish fish anyway don't feel bad these are just trolls :-) |

You say "cull" = death. Not always. To cull is simply to divide. You have the good and great ones put to one side and the culls to the other. What you do with the culls is optional. Some people will sell these not so perfect specimens to shops, or for pets. Terribly deformed fry should be euthanized, sure. However, fish that have not so perfect coloring or finnage can be given away or sold to pet shops. Most often the buyers never even see the defect that made them a cull in the first place. |
