Obsession with granny Carol duly noted Roy "Tristan" Hauer. Shes not leaving
and neither am I so deal with it. "Tristan" wrote in message ... So in the case in rec.poinds.moderated its easier to post erroneoous crap thana go head to head in a discussion which evidently is not allowed since your butting heads with another so it in fact is just passing on pityfully wrong info, especially when it comes from CArol herself....... yet another perfect example of dictatorship and being controlled by a moderated group intent on being the ultimate authority on may post made no matter what the content is. So will it be a requirement to say Seig Heil Seig Heil Seig Heil? On Fri, 12 Jan 2007 12:02:39 -0500, Galen Hekhuis wrote: PondMeister wrote: Carol is setting the stage. She want to make sure that her plagerized and many time incorrect information can get posted, and not get called on it. By simply posting: "Carol your info is incorrect" will send her off on a frenzy and thus accusing of others at snipping or bad mouthing her. Someone posting "Carol your info is incorrect" is really not too helpful. It does nothing to further discussion and gives no information as to why the information was incorrect. If that is all it contains, I'm pretty certain the post would be returned. If it went on to detail the reasons the information was incorrect, that would go a long way to legitimizing the post, but I would still be struck by the words "Carol your info is incorrect." Much better would to say something like: "The above info is incorrect" and avoid naming names. If such a post were made explaining why the information was incorrect, possibly even providing "correct" information I have little doubt that it would be approved. You guys as moderators have to really think about this. You are setting up a moderated group to basiclly moderate one person. Carol and her sockpuppets. All of your discussion on moderation is how to moderate Carol. All your energy and attention will be focused on ...Carol... And this is what she wants. Remember what the Rutherford Sheriff dept detectives mentioned. She a 66 yr old Woman with the brain of an infant. She does no work, sit behind her computer all day on the internet. Trust me, she has the time to make your moderation team waste theirs. I'm a 56 3/4 yr old man that some say doesn't even have a brain, let alone that of an infant. I do no work (in that I'm retired on disability). There are those who must be convinced that I do nothing but sit behind my computer all day on the Internet. Trust me, I have the time to waste, and if there is one thing I am skilled at, it is wasting time. You have already read what many of the Big-8 board memebrs and NGP moderators said about her attitude. Even Jayne pulled away from her support, because she can't keep her mouth shut. How many AFN list members has counseled her on killfiles and filters, and she ignored all their advice? One thing about rpm, everybody will get to start with a "clean slate." Past history, old flame wars, reputations and the like won't count at all. Do you really want to waste your time? Do you guys want to talk about ponds; or how to deal with Carol? The answer is obvious. ------- I forgot more about ponds and koi than I'll ever know! |
