Default Swamp Lily

This tropical Amaryllis like plant was given to me by a ponder who had no
other information on it. The large flowers are red in color and it blooms
and gets larger every summer. The bulb itself is larger than a grapefruit
now and has offsets around the mother bulb. These offsets are easily
removed to start new plants. It likes full sun and in summer water up to
the soil line but can also be used as a porch plant if kept moist. In
winter it does fine near a south window. Miracle Grow and Peter's
fertilizer helps with flower size.
