I am looking at getting back into aquaria, and have experience with lake
Malawi cichlids. I am considering setting up a 10 gallon tank in my office with Neolamprologus brevis, ocellatus, or other small shell dwelling cichlids. - Anyone tried such a set-up? - How many would live comfortably in a 10 gallon? - Are there other fish that would work with them. I have heard that white clouds can do ok. - Any of the shell dwellers easier to keep/ prettier than others? - Any suggestions on avoiding breeding? I don't want to deal with fry . .. . Do they eat thier babies? - Is a smaller tank possible? I was thinking about an eclipse 6. Any ideas, experiences are welcome. Thanks, Chris |

In a tank of only 40 gallons I would stick with only one species of
shelldwellers - even though they are hard to resist - and then keep about 10 to 20 of them in there, providing each of them with at least one shell... "Chris" skrev i en meddelelse ...
