Default [FAQ] Anybody want to post?

About 18 months ago (or so) I entered into an agreement with Erik over
at the Krib to post links to the aquaria FAQs on a periodic basis to
all the aquaria related rec, alt and sci groups. I did so monthly for
some time, but of late I haven't been lurking in the newsgroups as
much as in times past and I've become very inconsistent. I think the
last time I posted the FAQ links was at the beginning of September
2003.

Would anyone who is a regular here in RAFC like to take up that
responsibility? It's a simple process of cut-and-paste, and I'll be
happy to email you the text for the posting and the list of
newsgroups.

Note that I'm posting this request only to RAFC since I consider it my
home group (actually, alt.aquaria.oscars, created by me in 1998 is my
'home group' but it's very slow these days --) and I trust the
integrity of several of the individuals who post here.

Before you respond, please know that it's a voluntary task that you
can opt out of at any time, and that it does not put you in any kind
of position of authority over the aquaria newsgroups. It's simply a
"posting of convenience" so that aquarists can find the FAQs.
Additionally, I'll probably need to clear it through the FAQ authors
and I'll monitor the postings for a while.

If no one responds, I'll be happy to continue to make the posts,
although I hope you all forgive me when I fail to do so on a timely
basis.

Thanks everyone!

ps--I'm CCing a copy of this post to Erik so that the authors of the
FAQs will be aware of my request.

Sorry Mark,
I'd rather avoid the nasty replies you sometimes get. Like the one I saw in
RAM. Passive observer is much less demanding. ;-)

I did mail you to offer; I'm quiet in this group because I
only have kribs and rams which are kind of newbie cichlids, but
I'm more active in the other groups like r.a.f.misc.

I didn't get a reply so I'm repeating the offer here; I can
always set up a job to remind me on my server :-)

Cheers,
