Default spotting inbred scalares

I'm thinking of keeping angelfish, but as these fish are extremely
popular, I'm a bit worried about their gene pool. I'll definitely take the
natural form, as they were meant to be, but it'd be helpful if I knew how
to separate good specimens from inbred ones.

anyone who can give me some insight ?
