I have very little space for more tanks but I would love to have some
cichlids I have been doing alot of research, but am a little unsure
still. Thanks in advance.

Convicts are fairly small and will breed in a toilet bowl!

Convicts are NOT fairly small, each one gets about 6 inches in length.
However, they WILL breed anywhere and produce approximately 50 or more fry
per clutch of eggs.

Since you have stated that you have very little room for more tanks, what
would you do with all the fry that these fish produce? I know a lot of pet
stores, Petsmart and Petco to name two, who will not take fry no matter
what.

If you choose to have fish that breed, try guppies or mollies since they
will eat as many of the fry as they can when giving birth. Some will
survive, but not all of them.

Something to think about when choosing 'breeder' fish for a small 10 gallon
tank.
