I purchased a power meter and collected some data on my pump:
From the labels on the pump: Sequence 2400 SEQ10 motor: AO Smith 1.8A 1550 RPM 0.14HP Nothing on the manufacturers website, I think this model has been discontinued. I sort of remember the rated power was 100w. Plumbing (undersized I know): 1" to pond, 3/4 to spraybar. Pump is about 4 inches above water level, 2" inlet pipe. Watts Volt amps Power factor All valves open 107w 139VA 0.77 All valves closed 95w 132VA 0.72 Watts are what you ar paying for. FYI |
