For interest in the long term.
How big can red comets grow to?.
Presently they are approx 2" long
How big can blackmores grow to ?

very long tails?

6-8" commonly. Somebody else will have to chime in with the record size.

Well... "Snorkle" a local Moor of some fame was what... 8" SL? with lots
o' tail.
