East Coast Aquarium Society Meeting (Sept. 26th)

The next East Coast Aquarium Society meeting, with guest speaker Mr. Geoff
Davis, will be held September 26, 2004 (Sunday) 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Keshen
Goodman Library, 330 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Mr. Davis will be speaking on the topic, "Rocks For Your Tank". How do we
know whether those cool looking stones we deposit in our tanks will enhance
the aquascape or leave our fishes petrified in the corner? Find out the
basics about selecting rocks for your tank, how to prepare them, placing
rocks safely and how to create a natural fish habitat. There will be lots
of rock samples to examine, as well as a panel of "experts" willing to have
a look at your prized collection and tell you whether it is safe to house
with your favourite pets.
