I'm trying to install a 5 stage RO/DI unit that I bought from EBAY....the
instructions cover a basic kitchen install but don't touch on fish room applications. There are 3 lines out that I'm a bit confused as to where they go. One goes to the reservoir tank.... One is the RO line out... One is the DI out...this is the one that has me confused. I have no experience with a unit that incorporates a DI cartridge. I thought that there would only be one line out for the water into the tank/sump. All of the cartridges and fittings are connected so if the RO line out goes to the sump, where do you run the DI line out? Thanks in advance....I hate projects that I can't figure out using basic common sense. |

use the di output. cap the ro output, or use it for drinking water. what is
the reservoir tank output for? shouldn't that be the waste output line? "Tim Gilder" wrote in message ... Three line:
Line in (assume white) waterfeed to your RO Line Out (assume blue) result water from RO Line Out (assume Black) to drainage or waste water. The output line (blue) can either connect to a reservior or have a "T" + valve to DI CapFusion,... Mine has 4 lines. Input, reservoir, waste and output. The reservoir
has it's own line and water from the reservoir flows through the post filter before going to the faucet. I wouldn't be surprised if yours had two output lines since DI water is supposed to be nasty for drinking, but I would try to contact the manufacturer. It might be intended to be connected like mine.
