Just thought I would wish you all a speedy recovery, I have had enough
of this negative backbiting newsgroup.

Odd, since I blocked all of the folks that were cross posting to the
religious groups the room seems perfectly normal and as it was for years.
Backbiting is not how I think of the group.

Odder still, I haven't blocked anyone, and the room has been back to normal
yawn for the last several days. Wonder who southernbc is? Must have taken
a week off, downloaded the last 250 posts.... yeah, that would do it.

When it comes to RP and you go on vacation/break, I always say, "Delete
everything except the last 2 days, and don't respond to anything unless you
have read the whole thread, even if you have to use Google to find it."

I should have known better and made the same mistake (thought I had only a
day or two of posting and instead had a few months - had more than a few
foot in mouth moments...). Your suggestion is a very good one that I don't
mind being reminded of from time to time.

Looks like I spoke too soon, you're probably not seeing them, but there is
another thread or two being crossposted. We can't stop those who aren't
from RP, but RP regulars could/should really leave RP out of the loop when
it is a flame war that started elsewhere. IMHO. ~ jan

I would not say they are back biters either. With the exception of one
individual that keeps stirring up the religious fanatics and
initiates cross posts including rec.ponds to her replies, and enticing
the fanatics to post here, most folks here are OK, and do not fit
the back biting description.

It's not back-biting. It's crossposting by a known sociopath from a
religious Newsgroup. Please use your killfile to block all those you don't
want to see (including me). It's a really nice NG with a lot of really nice
people. I've been here on and off for 9 years. :-)
