Default Need Help with J. Dempsey

Hi Everyone,

I have a 13 year old Jack Dempsey that will be reaching the end of his
life soon. He stopped eating several weeks ago and is just sitting
almost motionless behind his cave. He is emaciated to say the least.
This fish is obviously dying of old age , but I hate to see him just
sit there and starve to death. My question is this - Is there a way to
humanely put a fish out it's misery. I read of a few methods, but I
couldn't bring myself to employ any of them.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tom D.
