Default water clearing

My water is finally starting to clear, still can't seem to raise the
hardness. But now a dang heron is hanging out.
I got to get a net over my pond. Not go be easy since its 15x15.
Maybe I should have left it green since I didn't have a bird problem. :-(

Hi Priss
The fruit tree netting comes in large sizes and is very light, so it
would be not hard to handle if you used a 20' X 20' piece and one person
walked down each side of pond to drape it over . I used to use it for leaves
and put it on this way and used rocks to pull it tight and anchor it. Now I
just net them out

Priss, if the bird hasn't fed yet, get a motion sprinkler.

ACE Hardware sells bird netting 14' by 45' for $18.99 here in TN. They
also carry other sizes. It's very thin, black and not very obvious. It
wont only keep the herons out but also the large bullfrogs, kingfishers,
snapping turtles and large water snakes. Include other pests such as
possums, skunks, cats and neighborhood dogs.
