Put some frilly mushrooms in there. They love frilly
mushrooms. Wayne Sallee Wayne's Pets Miss_Morg wrote on 11/9/2005 11:42 AM: I have a dirty-water (nutrient rich) tank with a tang, valentini puffer, damsel, sailfin blenny, orange spot shrimp goby, six-line, and a mess of full-grown breeding gobiesox strumosus (and a seabass I am looking to get rid of - he's free if you want him e-mail me ). It also contains some curly-cue apistasia, small non-apistasia, non-majano amenones (possible bubble-tips). I have crustaceans in there too. I keep the water nutrient-rich to promote macro algae growth (for the tang) and to grow/frag/sell mushrooms. The lighting is a 50/50 power compact with new bulbs. I have moderate water flow, with a powerful over-the back filter/mini refugium (mostly for baby crustaceans and polychates) and three powerheads. I have proper suplementation and a ton of live rock. There are also lots of sponges. Substrate is aged live sand, filled with polychates and small molluscs. I want to introduce a small group (like, three) perc clowns when I get rid of the bass, and would love for them to have a good-sized anemone to hide out in. With good lighting and high nutrients, does anybody have a good idea for an anemone? Any suggestions/stories would be greatly appreciated! Morg |

I keep the tank dirty just so I can frag out Ricordia. These recover super-fast, are attractive, and are really hardy. Is this what you mean by frilly mushrooms, or do you mean another kind?
