Greetings,
I saw a nice pond kit in the shape of "OO" or "8" in Costco, It starts with Sun...us.com, I forgot the middle portion of it. Anyone know the website? I think its just under $200. This model is not listed in the costco website. If anyone installed it, can you please post your experience? Iam looking for one to have my goldfish and koi move over to there. Advance thanks. Sam. |

Koi grow to 3' long (that's THREE FEET long) and goldfish can reach 12 to 13" in length. If you have several koi and a few GF you need at least a 750 to 1000g pond. My smaller pond is roughly 800g and contains 5 medium size butterfly koi, a few small green frogs and one slider turtle. That's pushing it! All the GF were removed from it last summer. -- Koi-Lo.... frugal ponding since 1995... Sorry it took me sometime to get the name of the company. This is a
outdoor 2 pond/water garden/fall kit, selling at $200 at Costco, the name is sunterra. Each pond is approx. 4' W X 6' L X 1.5' D. I learned somewhere else fish need atleast 3 feet depth for protection from sun in summer and in winter to avoid the pond turning to a frozen ice cube. |
