Heres is my two cents. Make sure that they are not getting sucked into the
filter, you did say much about the setup, and definitely leave the fry with the parents. If you remove them they will surely die. Horsepucky! Tell that one to all the breeders. You can raise all fish without their parents, cichlids are no exception. Fry do fine if given their own space. The only fish that should stay with the parents are discus, and I've heard from discus breeders that remove them too. It is just more ENJOYABLE to watch good parent fish raise their fry, not mandatory. Bob |
