Default Pump Selection help: Iwaki MD100RLT versus BlueLine HD Pumps HD100 and Iwaki MD55RLT vs BlueLine HD Pumps HD55 Water Pump

Here's my story.
I have a 215 gal reef (http://home.comcast.net/~fish.tank/ )
I'm needing to improve my protein skimming and circulation in a major
way.
I've decided on an A. E. Technology ETSS 800 skimmer & UHF Pro 72
Reef Sump.
Now I need to pick some pumps.

I am leaning toward an Iwaki MD55RLT for the skimmer and an Iwaki
MD100RLT for filter and circulation through the chiller.

Questions:
1) Are the pumps sizes sounding good?
2) Any thoughts or experience with the BlueLine HD Pumps HD100 and
BlueLine HD Pumps HD55 ? They are advertised as:

quieter and cheaper and "BlueLine HD Pumps "Our best, most reliable,
cost effective pumps for applications requiring heavy flow without all
the noise" These pumps are designed and built by a former chief
engineer from Iwaki-Japan."

I can't tell you about the Blue LIne pumps, but I have the ETSS 800
Gemini Skimmer with a Iwaki MD55RLT pump. Great combination. I would
say that Velocity pumps run much quieter that the Iwakis, though I
wouldn't consider the Iwakis "loud". The only issues I have with the
Velocity pumps are that they add a lot of heat to the water compared
to the Iwakis, and they seem to need servicing (break it down and
clean it in vinegar) more often than the Iwakis. On the other hand,
the Velocitys run dead silent.

Thanks Dave -
I checked out the Velocity pump, and the site I looked at said the
manufacturer (CSL) went out of business, so it looks like I'm leaning
toward the Iwaki's. I currently use MagDrives, so any idea how the
Iwaki's compare in noise to Mag drives?

Iwakis are the cadilac of pumps, and the knock offs are just as good.

No, I have no experience with the Mag drive, so I can't compare them.
Sorry about that. On the other hand, if you are interested in one of
the Velocity pumps, I think you might find some at distributers, as
some of them that I've checked are still advertising them.
