Hi Ben,
Those are Celebese Rainbow - Telmatherina ladigesi, very nice fish. I have 3M & 5F for a year now, and 2M still in Q-tank, waiting to go to main tank. Good luck. kclmymy Ben wrote in message .. . I know lots of these identify question but I'd appreciate if you'd all help me. I went to Petco on Thursday (apparently they get their new shipments on Wed). I bought these fish as they only had 4 of them and they were extremely pretty. http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dra...My+Photos/Fish (They also had things I'd never seen there before, rope fish, panda corries, etc). I appreciate the identification. TIA, Ben |

Maybe a close relative. -- Graham Ramsay You might be a Bright: www.the-brights.net |

BTW, if you like the Celebese than you would kill for Pseudomugil furcatus,
similar size but much more prettier (also cost 3.5x more). I have 9 in Q-tank, hehe :-) http://members.optushome.com.au/chelmon/Contents.htm http://www.rainbowfishes.org/ kclmmy kclmymy wrote in message ... Hello there
I could be mistaken but it looks like a rainbow. Possibly a Pacific Blue Eye. Chuck Gadd over in the plants group would be able to tell you. HTH -- Kind Regards Cameron McNeill RS&E Graphics Dept. I shared the same feeling.
I once walked into a Koi / pond LFS office and can't help myself but just staring at the 6ft planted tank with a school of 10 - 12 fully growth Boesebani rainbows, and my jaw gone stiffed for prolong ...... LOL Let go change some water to kill off the image..... kclmymy Eric Schreiber wrote in message ... "kclmymy" wrote: http://members.optushome.com.au/chelmon/Contents.htm Oh, great. Fortunately, I can't afford either approach. -- www.ericschreiber.com |

I'll have to go the many-smaller-tanks route... i'm pretty sure one of the
newts ate one of my dwarf puffer fish... can we say 'NOT impressed!' geesh... and i was worried about the newts being harassed.... and don't even get me started on how the minnows, newts, and loaches reacted to the brine shrimp!! crickey... i had to put the remaining puffer back in isolation to feed it and for its own safety ![]() AcH Eric Schreiber wrote: mindmeld wrote: i obviously need to be independently wealthy before i get the 55G tank =] In my crazed fish-room dreams, I go one of two ways... either a bunch of smaller tanks so that I can keep all the species that interest me, or one big honking tanks around 150 gallons, with colorful cichlids.
