I have 9 neons and one of them now looks deformed and swims with its head
down and tail up in jerky motions. I don't know if it got injured or if it is diseased . Can someone shed some light on this thanks |

Quarantine if you can, euthanise if you can't. Bent spines and erratic swimming can be caused by neon disease, fish TB, or other muscle infections. Sounds like a bacterial disease - not to rule out NTD (neon tetra disease). I would treat the tank days 1, 4, 7, 10 and 13 with a half dose of QuickCure and eather Kanamcin or Maracyn-Two. A 20% water change/gravel vac should be done before each dosing............. Frank |
