Hi ... I have a 20g microreef in the office, and would
like to ge a protein skimmer for it. I used the Prizm in the past, and was not happy with it (it started leaking, not a good thing for a tank in the office!). The tank has been doing OK for about a year without it, but there is a coat of darkish algae on the live rock which is kinda annoying and hard to remove. Also the coralline algae isn't growing well. Any recommendations for a protein skimmer? I don't have a sump so it would have to be a hang-on or small internal. I've read negative reviews of the new Fisson nano skimmer. Anyone tried the Tunze nano protein skimmer? Other recommendations? thanks, shireen -- Shireen Gonzaga, Data Analyst, Space Telescope Science Inst. If you don't want to spend a lot of $$ Try the hangon cyclone.. just make
sure you find the demmensions for it and that it will fit on you're tank. They are economic, and work pretty well for such an economic skimmer. A lot opf people hate them, but those lots of people havent had one thy just go by what they hear. Regards, -Jc "Shireen Gonzaga" wrote in message ... Hi ... I saw it on marinedepot.com. Mark |
