Default Livestock by Mail?

My first reaction to the thought of mail order fish was an uncomfortable
one. But Since many LFS sell everything from Hermit Crabs to
Cockerspanials, isnt buying mail-order Livestock online from Marine
Specialists a source of much healthier Specimens? If so, please give links
to the reputable dealers you have had good experiences with.

thanks!

I've made only two purchases, both from Foster & Smith. The first was a bunch of
crabs & snails for tank cleanup duties; the second was 30 lbs of live rock. The
cleanup crew was ordered in mid-winter (which gets a bit chilly here in NJ).
They put heat packs in the boxes to take care of that; charged extra for those too.

Anyway, everything arrived in great shape and I was quite satisfied. If the
nitrites stay down, I will be ordering more live rock in the next few days.
Probably from F&S again, but maybe not.

I've ordered supplies from http://www.marinedepotlive.com but no fish yet.

Coffee is only a way of stealing time that should by rights belong to
your slightly older self.

A good LF store in NJ is The Aquarium Center in Clementon NJ. I buy 90% of
my supplies there and all of my live stock.
