Hello.
Accidental cross posts aside I haven't really had the pleasure peoples. I have a few year experience with marine fish but most has been with predator setups. Larger perch, eels, octopus and cuttle fish. Now tho I have some very nice live rock going in a few tanks, not a real reef yet but it's getting there sorta. few soft corals but mainly just nice coraline algae. Anyway 2 of my liverock 'friendly' tanks are 4 foot long and 1 &1/2 foot wide The other 2 are 3 foot long. Each tank has clownfish (solomon island percs), blennys, snails, I also have a coral beauty angel and an arc eye hawk fish in one of the 4's My question is what fish do you reef guys have in your tanks that are doing really well? I'm not after a formula but I am interested to know what has worked well for people. I use ample biological filtration on these tanks and water changes to control nitrates (on the beach here) While not a live rock purist I have had nice results before. And then woken up to see my new fish has eaten it all! I know I haven't specified what anemone/coral/featherworms ect but I wanna know the best behaved fish accross the board. :-) Must like clowns! |

Click on anything that strikes your fancy. If Mark says it's "reef safe", you'll probably have no trouble with it eating your critters. Then all you have to worry about is whether it will be nice to your other fish. George Patterson All successes in conservation are temporary. All defeats are permanent. |

Ok so blue chromis, a dotty back of some type, some sorta small Anthias and maybe a red fire fish or 2 off now to check http://thereeftank.com/forums/index.php looks pretty intense!! |

Hi there,
Nice to meet a friendly type on the list. I won't advise you about reefs as I don't know enough, but please ignore Stoutman the Troll. It doesn't speak for anyone but itself. ![]() Cindy |
