Default Help!!! My mollies upside down

I have just experienced Ph problems. they were to low, ive managed to
get them to increase but now my male mollie is lying upside down under
the heater. He is still alive but dosent look good.

The other male was upside down but now is fine i think. females both
look good
please help. he is my favorite fish
Thanks in advance for any help.

i have 65 litre tank
sand
normal filter
plants
4 mollies + 7 young
4 guppies
3 neon tetras
4 shrimp
2 glass cleaner fish
1 barbed cat fish

Sorry but my mollie has passed away

shaft is now swimming in the big wide waterways.

any help would be apprciated in stopping it happening to another fish
tho

think it was dropsy aswell (scales stuck out after death)

I dont think you had dropsy. Your pH is still too low for mollies, and
as stated by Dick in another post, Mollies can be difficult. Make sure
your ammonia and nitites are 0 and stay there. Again KH is very
important, especially for mollies.
You can treat with Pimafix or a stronger treatment of
Kanacy/Nitrofurazone, but until your aquarium has the right conditions
all the medications in the world will not help.

Default Help!!! My mollies upside down


Thanks for the input.im gonna get all the testin kits at weekend to
save on running to the shop everytime i need a water sample tested.
Actually think my 3 pregnant fish (mollie and 2 guppies are going to
pop soon so will have lots more to contend with shortly. will keep a
post goin when they do finally. and will also post about tank as it
progresses. thanks for all the help tho. its has helped alot and ive
learnt alot in the last few days
