Default Science Fair Project Question

Hi, I'm deciding on a science fair topic and I'm really interested in
planaria regeneration. One of my top few choices is: Does pH of water
affect planaria regeneration? And I have a few questions. Is it
difficult to change the pH of water, and are the supplies needed to
change it expensive/hard to obtain? Also, is it possible that the pH
of the water could hurt the planaria in any way?
Thanks!!!
Brooke
