Default LFS WTF!

I had a saddle back clown that I really didn't have room for and I was
tired of cleaning out his 10g. So, I took him down to the LFS and they
offered to take him, but no exchange, store credit, etc. I agreed but
asked for my container back. The guy says no problem, and takes the
fish back.

I wander around the store looking at the displays and I find some
employees watching a tank and there is the clown fish gasping for life.
They are wondering what it is. I'm looking at them, then the clown
fish, and back at them.

WTF? You just dumped the fish in there with no acclimation? Are you
insane?

I couldn't believe it. We need a better LFS.

Default LFS Clownfish acclimation

Most pet stores just see the fish as something to
draw the customers in to buy other products. They
often don't see them as a profit item, and don't
care about there well being.

That being said, most salt water fish can be put
right in if the water paramers are not way off, but
then most pets stores have salinity levels that are
ridiculously low.
