Default Estimate on price - building a pond

Get snow yet Jan?
I'm still having to cut grass once a week......send some cool weather
this way along with some rain.....

No snow, grass still needs winterizer fertilizer put down, but I think

done mowing. ) ~ jan

Jan this brings back a memory for me. One year winter came early and
DH did not put the winter fertilizer down in the fall. So it sat in
the shed. Then in like late February he put it out- on top of the
snow. Yes- on top of the snow! So the snow melted- like 7 inches of
it- and some of it ran in to my pond, and in March the water was so pea
green thick you could cut it with a knife. The fish were gasping- we
set the pumps out early and unbelievably they survived.

I don't think he will do that again. lol

Yikes! How did he manage to spread it?

I got it put down Friday, course the drop spreader (a cheap plastic one
that I brought 10 years ago) broke after just a few rows. The level that
opens and closes the hopper broke clean off, so DS put a clamp on it and I
just did the best I could with an open-continuously hopper. I put very
little close to the ponds, and we got a little rain to wet it but not
run-off, so I think I'm safe. ~ jan

What I should have asked on this one was, "but how did the grass turn out"?
Bad, bad, bad..... ~ jan
