Default Pink water!

Hi All - Doing a water change this morning I noticed that the water was
pink! The only changes I made in the last week a
New plants.
Reduced PO4 from 2.5 to 0.25 ( I've done this by not leaving cucumber in
the aquarium).

Any advice is really appreciated.

Thanks - Dave

Are these stones you've had for some time or new purchases? Any of them
pink? Maybe they are leeching into the water....

All I can think of other than what colour is your tap water? But I'm
guessing if that was pink as well you'd be onto the Water Board rather
than posting on a fish ng :-)

Arghhh - Problem solved! I recall planting some mineral tablets in the
substrate and as the water on my fingers touched the tablets, they turned
red! Doh.....
