I notice our friend quoted a price in "English Pounds" as apposed to American Dollars which the seller is quoting,, So who know where anyone is located. But as the seller , he can ask what he likes for his stuff, As for being overpriced , it depends where you are, In Australia a 2 inch Discus, regardless of type // colour would fetch $60 -80 each. Fish of the size our friend is selling are never seen, so any price is possible. I did see a pair [proven breeding pair] of 5 inch fish sell once for $600. and there was no shortage of buyers. But that was a very long time ago. As I said it's all about supply and demand, and the seller can always reduce his prices, but he can't increase them. bassett |

Firstly , the 2nd half of your post first, Importing fish into Australia, is virtually imposable, The quarantine requirements are very strict, not to speak of the costs involved, This is why, we simply don,t have the varity that you people enjoy. Also wild caught stock is unknown. . With regard to the money, I do know what a dollar sign is "possum" I can also recognise a Pound sign, something which does no longer appears on outr keyboards,, Better read again "Possum" ***** No offence mate but as a private sellers your prices are way to high. With regard to the money, I do know what a dollar sign is "possum" I can also recognise a Pound sign, something which does no longer appears on outr keyboards,, Better read again "Possum" Possum? Is that good or bad? My point, your newsreader and mine are apparently displaying the same hex charaxter differently, which I find strange. Mine shows my characters as dollar signs, as it does those from the OP. The message from FISH2KEEP shows as a pound sign in my reader. anyway, no problem, I just find it strange that the readers would do that. ***** No offence mate but as a private sellers your prices are way to high.
