I have one of the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Tap Water Purifiers and
also have a 35 gpd RO unit. I am planning to simply connect the output of the RO unit to the TWP and then from there on to the holding tank. Any reason that won't work? Thanks, Mark |

Do you have pressurized holding tank? Tap water filter does not hold the high pressure. It is designed to work with open ended, free flowing output. |

Hello,
I have this setup for safety reasons. I bought RO/DI after TWP and had an extra cartridge, so i decided to put it to use. I have this on auto topoff with electronic float switch, thus the system is low pressure affter RO. I tried it with float walve and it blew the top of the cartridge off... So far, after a year of use, cartridge is stil "fully charged". I'd imagine good RO would clean the water pretty good, so I left the cartridge there just in case RO membrane goes bad... Regards Yuriy |
