Default Please Help!!!

I have a 75 gallon aqaurium with 3 Orandas and 2 Ryunkins and a black moor.
Alge seemed to be a problem. But I did a 50% water change last week and get
the algea off ever day! My water levels have been tested and they are all
fine. 1 Ryunkin is floating at the top most of the day it has no problems
swimming when I approach the tank it can swim normal and to the bottom. I
changed its food to flake and it seemed better for a day or two. But now its
back to floating again. now today I have noticed 1 of the Orandas is staying
at the top! Im going to go buy som peas to see if that helps. Help what
should I do? I dont have another tank for emergencies! Can I try the epson
salt in the whole tank? I dont want the whole tank to crash! Please Help!!!

Quite taking a bath in the tank.........odds are one of the
rec.ponds.moderated types has been ****ing / crapping in your tank
when your not looking. Give up on fish and take up raising chia
pets....or pet rocks!

find out what the temp is, should be close to 78oF, then get the test kit for
nitRATES. should be less than 20 ppm
with 6 fish, probably gravel that hasnt been pulled out and cleaned in the last year,
feeding food that is mostly corn, wheat and is basically in and out of a fish and
fouls the water, I would bet that the nitrates are very high. water changes wont
even fix this.

remove or at least clean the gravel
http://weloveteaching.com/puregold/c...re1.htm#GRAVEL
do not leave the fish in the tank while you do this. use a bucket WITH AN AERATOR

dont feed the fish for 3-5 days. if they stop floating then you got a chance to have
normal fish. you are probably
1. over feeding. fish normally nibble itty bitty things all day long
2. feeding food that is mostly grains. GF are not herbivores. they eat itty bitty
critters and get the algae that comes with them when they graze. think of the great
blue whales that eat krill. GF are fish versions. get freeze dried krill, daphnia,
or wet pack of these. dont feed tube worms or tubifex which are truly bottom feeders
of bacteria might have nasty bacteria in them.

feed only itty bitty amounts. INgrid

Dam, look it here, Dr. Solo aka Ingrid came up from licking the carpet
on Jan to answer a post! Or were you perhaps giving Ron a little?
