The no-friend troll made the mistake of venturing into a newsgroup that

goldfish .. as well as being a DEVOUT Everton
fan .

I've only perused this ng a little, given my interest in keeping a large
tank of coldwater fish. From reading past posts

I'm a beginner with goldfish ... but, 'cos I've read a few books .... I

Pet Supermarket used to get in beautiful fancy GF of all kinds when they
first opened. Now all I see there are truly bad culls. There is nowhere
locally to get "good" fancies anymore.

The truth is .... I never had an interest in keeping fish, until just over
a year ago.

Wierd ... but, TRUTH is ..... a a friend of my wife's asked her to take
care of their pair
of goldfish, when they went on holiday. We ended up keeping them. Then my
wife wanted
more .... & so we got a *tank*. We started with a bowl .... & now it's got
a little bit expensive.

It has escalated , since then. We now have about 15 coldwater fish, that
are getting bigger
& bigger .... in a huge *display* tank.

There are a lot of questions that I'd like to ask about keeping goldfish &
our Black Moors
etc.....

I'm a definite 100% learner , regarding keeping goldfish.

I look forward to reading any further advice / information that you may
have .... or that you are
willing to share.
