I just picked up a new monti yesterday, and on the base of the rock
were three fuzzy mushrooms. One of them is white in the center, though the remainder is a nice lavender. Would this be bleaching, or can this be normal coloration? The other two shrooms are solid lavender in color. Thanks, Dave |

Yes mushrooms do bleach.

Is it likely to recover, or can I write off this one 'shroom? It
certainly is stressed, though, got plucked from the ocean, sent wherever, I bought it on impulse the day it got to the LFS, so it's had a rough two weeks! As long as it's environmental conditions are
currently good for it's survival, it will be fine. Wayne Sallee Dave wrote on 12/2/2007 2:14 PM: Is it likely to recover, or can I write off this one 'shroom?
