How much are they charging and what condition are they in? Also, what part
of the country is this?

A couple of local stores here have been offering marimo balls since around
the summertime, but they're in horrible condition and asking $10 for a
golfball-size portion.

I'm in the northeast and the condition looked excellent, nice and deep green
and round. They are $9.99 each and a little bigger than a golf ball ( maybe
an inch or so bigger in diameter).
