Alright everyone, I think that's enough flaming for now.
Neil, I'm glad you're just asking for advice on *future* stocking. That wasn't clear in your last post. Which fish you will find the most interesting will be a very personal decision. Everyone has their own favorites. My suggestion is that you go to your local stores, browse some books and decide on one fish are your favorite. Make sure it is not a very difficult species and that you can provide the right environment for it. Then build the rest of the community (if it will be a community) to the compatibility of that fish. Do a bit of research on the fish and ask some questions here about its needs and what might be compatible *before* you buy anything. Choosing your favorite fish might be tough and confusing - it can take quite a bit of time and research. Good luck, Cris On 23 Nov 2003 10:14:06 -0800, (NSP) wrote: You know, I can appreciate that I may not know all there is to know about fish. And yes, I have read all that has been posted in this group and sites like fishprofiles.com and thekrib.com, etc. However, I see no cause to put me down. It's a shame that fish can't talk, as I'm sure if they could, they would teach some unnamed aquarium veterans on some simple people skills. I guess that's the problem when a hobby is taken too far. That said, I don't recall stating that I was planning a big trip to the pet shop this weekend with plans to fill my tank up. I posted the message so I can plan for the future and get some ideas - as my current tank survivors will determine species compatibility. Regards, Neil |

![]() "Sarah" wrote in message om... I agreee that he has made a huge error in setting up his tank and that he shouldn't get any more fish for the time being. I don't agree on the (lack) of advice he's getting. He's here because he's realized that he made a mistake. The reason this forum is here is for people like him who jumped into a tank with both feet and are now sinking fast. Rather than tell him how he made a huge mistake, shouldn't we be giving advice on how to correct the problem? that's where you're wrong. you say he realized he had a mistake? he just came and asked which LARGE fish to add to his tank. puh-leeeze! |
