And no, the cross breeds will not be given away or sold... these fellows may
end up as food for other cichlids.. Where as I know the Yellow labs are true labs, and Borni's are definantly Borni's... Tim.. "T" wrote in message k.net... Well, well... I have two holding females in separate tanks with one of them likely approaching a month and the other close to that time. Rick |

tahts strange that you only got 6. You sure you got em all? My lab female
dropped 9 the first spawn, and they 22 the 2nd one..and shes still tiny. Male is probably 4 times her mass.... Rick I seen 7 in total, the lab female is very small compared to the rest of my labs. There was babies in the tank and then there was at least one more left in her mouth when I retrieved the other babies..Last night the Lab started eatting so I know for sure she is not holding anymore fry..These fry are very light coloured/transparent and were hard to see in the Community tank.. Hard to know wehter or not the resident Haps got a few to snack on. These little fellows should grow fairly quick.. Now the Fullborni has about another 2 weeks before she starts dropping her fry... These should be really nice as the parents are very nice looking fish... Tim... |
