Light at night for spawed Angels ??

It's a long time ago but when I bred Angel fish I didn't intentionally
leave a light on for them but the fish house had a dim night light for
me. Perhaps it was beneficial to them too but I think they could have
managed without it.

the bad news is that during the 2&1/2 days the eggs slowly turned white and
then she ate them
