The wifes fish , which has had swim bladder problems early on its life with
us has started to behave strange. At the time on its last water change we presumed it was gaining weight as it has always been a little on the sickly side, compaired to mine ( they were bought the same time but had to be seperated as mine seemed to bully it when its swim bladder gave it jip) But on re tanking it nothing improved, it 'jumps' and 'dives' in and out of the tank, its fin is still upright and it did seem to eat. We then looked and fed it peas for 2 days as it looked like it was constipated to which it passed solids on the day but nothing more We then used frozen bloodworm , which the local pet shop advised, to which it ate but still the same symptoms, we were told it has trapped air in it and it need s to be released. Its now on day 2 of the worms and it still looks off its food but in general happy but still has the traits mentioned above. Any ideas what we have missed or how to help little 'fags' ? Cheers Stu! |
