Default molly mating

My mollies have been in the "act" of mating for the past 2 months. Can they
decide when to "become" pregnant, or does it take a longer amount of time
before the babies are born?

I suppose the goldfish group might not be the best place to ask a live
bearer question, but there are many that can help.. It depends on water
conditions, water temperature and sometimes what you feed them. You might
want to consider feeding them some a meal of blood worms for a few days..
Might help the female get set to reproduce, unless of course the female is
an old girl, there fore she might be past her prime, menapause so to speak..
