Ready to do plumbing. Does anyone here use the uniseals? What are the pros
and cons? Joann

Thanks Rich, I have read about this process on the bickel site. How are your
new fish?

Joann,

The uniseal that I am familiar with would work nicely in the side of a
fiberglass skimmer box or a stock watering tank, but it would not work
through the liner. The bickal boot is the way to go through the liner.
Either application can be done with bulkhead fittings.

They work very well in solid walled tanks. Like stock tanks, 55 gallon
barrels, or fiberglass walled tanks. Won't work as a bulkhead for a
liner.

Glad to hear it. The new butterfly are doing fine. I did a partial water
change this morning and since then they have really perked up. They had been
huddling together on the bottom of the QT stock tank. I think they will be
beauties when they grow up. Joann
