Default ammonia tests

I tried using 2 different test kits..
one has 3 different vials,, I have a reading of 0%
the other test kit is a one vial kit......it gives a reading of 3%
ammonia.......

hmmm

the kits don't say much about the chemicals used in the tests.
I have used amquel in the water.

That's why. The one bottle test kit doesn't make allowance for use of
Amquel or other such ammonia detoxing chemicals. ~ jan
