I have two of them that are pretty used and they dont get "that" hot. I
will check them out later but something to consider.... My LG pumps need to be oiled every 6 months. HTH ~Mort "Jon C Rupert" wrote in message .. . I bought a used little giant pump3-mdqx-sc and after a few hours of operation it is hot as a firecracker. I am assuming that the motor is wore out. If it is wore out, can it be fixed? How hot does a new pump get under normal operation? Can you hold your hand on it? Thanks |

I can't hold my hand on the pump for more than two or three seconds. How

It is very warm, borderline hot, but I can keep my hand on it indefinately. There are two small ports on the motor. One in the front, and one on the back. That is where the oil goes. I will try to bring in my digi-cam so I can get a pic for you. ~Mort |
