Default Can they all get along?

Ok if this works right I have a web site up so that I can now show pictures
when I ask questions. I have two tanks I'm wanting to combine into one. I
need to know if all of the inhabitants will be able to live together.

You can view these inhabitants he

I have two regular common clowns and a Tang in a 55 gallon FO tank. I also
have a 30 gallon tank with live rock and live sand with two YSMClowns, one
Decorator Crab, two Hermit Crabs, two Turbo Snails, one Peppermint Shrimp,
one Feather Worm, and two life forms that I am not sure what they are.
Is it possible to move it all to the 55 gallon without ending up with a
bunch of floaters in the morning? The fish and friends in the 30 look like
they need more room to swim. It's a pretty sad sight. Please help.

Thanks

Ed

The thing you don't know what it is. It's little feather duster worm. It
will most likely stay that way - small.
On combining the two tanks, you might have problems with the clowns
fighting between ocellaris & maroons (especially if the maroons are a pair).
You could see how it goes but be prepared to remove a set of clowns.
And of course the hippo is going to need more room as he gets older.
Otherwise these fish stress easily & become ich magnets.

I moved a 55 from my old apartment to my new house. I didn't loose any
of my fishes or invertebrates. even saved the water despite what people
told me of using new RO water and re-establish the tank.

Make sure you don't disturb the bottom (sand, crushed coral or whatever
you used) and do it as quick and stressless possible.

I'm not sure this answers my question. I was wanting to know if the animals
would get along if they all went into one tank? I'm not thinking it is such
a good idea now though because the other two Clowns seem to be pairing up
too. They just started "the dance" tonight. Oh well I guess it's time to
set up the other 55 gallon tank. Wonder if the wife will let me put it in
the bedroom...:-) I'm pretty much out of space in the living room...:-(

There is a chart with a list of fishes and tells yo with what other
fishes are/are not compatible with. I've sen them but don't have one. If
I come across one will let you know.

Thanks. I bookmarked that link as soon as I seen what it was. The problem
I would have is putting a paired set of Yellow Striped Maroon Clowns and a
paired set of regular Clowns in the same tank. Not sure that would be such
a good idea. Here is a link to the entire group that I was thinking about
putting in the 55 gallon tank.

BTW I just bought live sand from my LFS. Boy did that make all the
creatures in my reef in progress tank happy. At $20.00 per 20 gallon tank
sized bag I wish I'd have got enough for both tanks. Soon though.

Thanks for your help

Ed
