I have a green birds nest that has cyano growing on it in places. How do I
go about removing the cyano before it does damage? I have tried taking it out and cleaning some of it off, but it didn't work, or I didn't do it right. TIA Darin |

Simply take a powerhead or a plain ole turkey baster, and blow it off. |

I think it's cyano, not sure. It is red and has air bubbles on it when its
in the tank. When I first placed the frag in the tank, it was in front of a power head. That's when I noticed the algae. I have moved the power head since then. I will try the tooth brush again and see if I can remove any. Thanks Darin "CapFusion" CapeFussion...@hotmail.., com wrote in message ... "Anthony Pruitt" wrote in message . ..
